About You and It

You and It at King's Head Theatre in Islington is an award-winning Korean musical set in a near-future world where humans and AI coexist. The story follows a grieving widower who encounters an artificial intelligence created in the image of his late wife, bringing love, loss and memory into focus.

Blending an intimate two-person story with a contemporary score, the musical looks at artificial intelligence and what it means to be human. It won the Best Musical Award at the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF).

Following productions in South Korea and Taiwan, You and It became the first Korean original musical to present a fully localised English-language production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024, where it had a critically acclaimed month-long run. It now returns to London for a limited run.
