Churchill’s Urinal is a new comedy by and starring Rosie Holt, with additional material by Stewart Lee and direction by Daniel Clarkson. Set in 11 Downing Street, it follows a newly installed female Chancellor of the Exchequer as she tries to remove an old urinal from her grace-and-favour en-suite, only for the row to grow into a national argument over Winston Churchill and a possible Blue Plaque.
The show is the world premiere of Holt’s new play, which was first seen in a reading at Shedinburgh last year. Holt’s alter-ego MP has passed seven million online views, and she has toured two stage shows nationally. Clarkson previously directed Holt in The Crown Live, which sold out at the King’s Head Theatre.
