A Saturday night of Balkan psychedelic ethno-fusion at Jamboree with the brilliant Gipsydelica combining originals and gems mined from the treasure trove of Balkan folk! Support comes from ace pre-war blues artist Marcia Mello.
Headiners Gipsydelica are a major force on East London's underground music scene, headlining at parties and festivals and well-known for their ability to whip any dancefloor into a frenzy. The band are led by the boundlessly exuberant Miroslav Morski, a hero in his homeland of Bulgaria where he fronts Django Ze. Morski's broad influences and understanding of multiple musical traditions make for a unique songwriter with an abundant imagination, his band a real power trio of players whose roots run deep, and vision runs wild.
In support, Marcia Mello is a ragtime, slide guitar and pre-war blues guitarist, singer, busker and recording artist. She has featured on Butterfly Recordings' "What the Folk" volume 2 , and The Orbs' "Metallic Spheres" ft David Gilmour. Her "Queen of Portobello" LP was release on 2022 on the Suriya label.
