Sing 40! Celebrating 40 years with Crouch End Festival Chorus
Music Genres
Choral
Hailed by John Betjeman as the Arts and Crafts cathedral, Holy Trinity Church Sloane Square provides the magnificent backdrop for the eclectic repertoire which launches the 40th anniversary season of the renowned Crouch End Festival Chorus.
This concert of a cappella works features Tallis's glorious 40-part motet Spem in alium, the ethereal lyrical Mass in G minor by Vaughan Williams, and Allegri's mesmerising Miserere. Also in the concert are three pieces from the recently-published Oxford Book of Choral Music by Black Composers and Rheinberger's Abendlied.
