The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre in London tells the story of the Phantom, hidden beneath the Paris Opera House, and his love for Christine Daaé. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score, together with the production’s scenery and special effects, brings the story to the stage.
It first opened at His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday 9 October 1986, with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles. Since then, it has become one of the highest-grossing musicals of all time, won 70 major theatre awards and been seen by over 140 million people worldwide.
Running time: 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one interval. Performance times: Monday to Friday at 7.30pm; Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Children under 4 will not be admitted. Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. Every person entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.
You will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket; please print it and bring it on the day. The theatre recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before the performance start time, and you may also need to present valid ID.
No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Please note that Stalls Row N-S will have the top of the staging obscured by the Royal Circle overhang, and single seats cannot be left in a row when booking.
