The Phantom of the Opera at 57 Haymarket, London, tells the story of the Phantom living beneath the Paris Opera House, and his powerful attachment to the singer Christine Daaé. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score, together with the scenery and special effects, brings the story to the stage.

First opened at His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, the musical has become one of the highest-grossing musicals of all time.

It has won 70 major theatre awards and has been seen by over 140 million people worldwide.

Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes including one interval. Performance times: Monday to Friday 7.30pm; Saturday 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Before you book

Children under the age of 4 will not be admitted. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. Every person entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.

You will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket; please print it and bring it on the day. It is recommended that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. You may also need to present valid ID. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
