The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre, London, is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical set beneath the Paris Opera House, where the Phantom lives in a shadowy existence and his love for Christine Daaé drives the story. The production combines Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score with detailed scenery and special effects.

It first opened at His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the lead roles. Since then, it has become one of the highest-grossing musicals of all time, winning 70 major theatre awards and being seen by over 140 million people worldwide.

Running time: 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one interval. Performance times are Monday to Friday at 7.30pm, and Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Before you book

Children under 4 will not be admitted. Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. Every person entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.

You will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket. Please print it and bring it on the day, and you may also need to present valid ID. It is recommended that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance start time.

No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Please note that Stalls Row N-S have the top of the staging obscured by the Royal Circle overhang. Single seats cannot be left in a row when booking.
