Romeo & Juliet is at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London’s West End. Shakespeare’s tragic story begins in Verona, where two young people meet at a party and the rest becomes tragedy. This production stars Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) as Juliet in her West End debut and Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place, Hamnet) as Romeo, with Robert Icke (Oedipus) directing.
The season is described as strictly limited. It presents the play as a story of love and innocence, set against the tragic turn of events that follows the meeting in Verona.
Running time: 2 hours 55 minutes including an interval.
Recommended for ages 10+. Patrons aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The production deals with themes of grief and revenge and includes descriptions of violence. It also contains strobe lighting.
Latecomers are not admitted and there is no readmittance except during the interval. No exchanges or refunds are offered. The production cannot guarantee the appearance of any specific actor due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.
