

Allegra is a heart-warming comedy with music by Peter Quilter, the writer of End of the Rainbow and Glorious!. The production stars Dame Maureen Lipman in the title role and follows Allegra, a woman full of life who sings at home, in the street, and even in shops and cafés.
The story centres on Allegra’s brother Ronen and her carer Anna as they try to support her without dimming the joy that defines her. Directed and choreographed by Stephen Mear, the show combines family relationships, humour and music, with songs including Singin’ in the Rain, Ain’t No Sunshine, Dream A Little Dream Of Me and Happy Days Are Here Again.
