

Allegra is a brand new heart-warming comedy with music at Panton St, West End, London SW1Y 4DN. Written by Olivier and Tony Award nominated playwright Peter Quilter, it follows Allegra, a woman full of life and joy who bursts into song at home, in the street and even in local shops and cafés.
Dame Maureen Lipman stars in the title role, in her first UK tour for 20 years. The production is directed and choreographed by three-time Olivier Award winner Stephen Mear, and includes musical numbers such as Singin’ in the Rain, Ain’t No Sunshine, Dream A Little Dream Of Me and Happy Days Are Here Again.
Allegra is supported by her devoted brother Ronen and her carer Anna, with the story exploring family, love and the challenge of protecting someone you love without dimming what makes them who they are.
