

Oliver! at the Gielgud Theatre is Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Lionel Bart’s musical, fully reconceived with director and choreographer Matthew Bourne. Following a sold-out season at Chichester Festival Theatre, it opens in London on Saturday 14 December 2024.
The show brings Dickens’ story of the boy who asked for more to the stage, with songs including Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah and As Long As He Needs Me. It is a Cameron Mackintosh & Chichester Festival Theatre production.
The production is directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, with co-direction by Jean-Pierre van der Spuy. Design is by Lez Brotherston, lighting design is by Paule Constable and Ben Jacobs, sound design is by Adam Fisher, video design by George Reeve, original orchestrations by William David Brohn adapted by Stephen Metcalfe, and music supervision by Graham Hurman.
