Oliver! at the Gielgud Theatre in London is Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Lionel Bart’s musical, fully reconceived with director and choreographer Matthew Bourne. It follows a sold-out season at Chichester Festival Theatre and brings Dickens’ story of the boy who asked for more to the stage in a clear, character-led production.

The score includes Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah and As Long As He Needs Me. This Olivier, Tony and Oscar-winning musical is produced and revised by Cameron Mackintosh, with co-direction by Jean-Pierre van der Spuy.

Key facts: The production opens at the Gielgud Theatre on Saturday 14 December 2024. It is a Cameron Mackintosh & Chichester Festival Theatre production.
