Oliver! at the Gielgud Theatre is Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Lionel Bart’s iconic musical, fully reconceived with director and choreographer Matthew Bourne. It opens in London on Saturday 14 December 2024.
The show features Lionel Bart’s score, including Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah and As Long As He Needs Me. It brings Dickens’ story of the boy who asked for more to the stage in a Cameron Mackintosh & Chichester Festival Theatre production.
Key facts: It follows a sold-out season at Chichester Festival Theatre and is described as an Olivier, Tony and Oscar-winning masterpiece.
