About Oliver!

Oliver! at the Gielgud Theatre is Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Lionel Bart’s musical, fully reconceived with director and choreographer Matthew Bourne. It opens in London on Saturday 14 December 2024.

The Olivier, Tony and Oscar-winning musical tells Dickens’ story of the boy who asked for more. Its score includes Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah and As Long As He Needs Me.

Produced and revised by Cameron Mackintosh, the production is directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, co-directed by Jean-Pierre van der Spuy, with design by Lez Brotherston, lighting by Paule Constable and Ben Jacobs, sound by Adam Fisher and video design by George Reeve.

This production follows a sold-out season at Chichester Festival Theatre.
