Teeth 'n' Smiles is playing at Duke of York's Theatre, St Martin's Lane, London. This 50th anniversary revival of David Hare’s play follows Maggie Frisby, a former voice of 60s counterculture whose band’s hopes of anarchic rebellion have given way to bitterness. Fuelled by booze and fury, she tears through the night in a story built around a voice that refuses to die.
The production includes original music and stars Rebecca Lucy Taylor (Self Esteem) as Maggie. Written by David Hare, the play was first associated with The Royal Court and returns in a revival marking 50 years since its original run.
