Teeth 'n' Smiles at Duke of York's Theatre in London is the 50th anniversary revival of David Hare's play, starring Rebecca Lucy Taylor as Maggie Frisby. The story centres on a once-raucous 60s counterculture band whose youthful ideas of anarchic rebellion have given way to bitterness, as Maggie sings through a night fuelled by booze, fury and refusal to give in.

Set against the collapse of the band's dream, the play draws on the energy of the original production that set The Royal Court alight 50 years ago. It includes original music and presents Maggie as a former voice of the scene now facing the wreckage of that era.
