Nice N' Spiky Comedy

Friday 1 May’s edition of Nice N' Spiky at Chelsea Theatre is headlined by Slim (Star of BBC’s Live At The Apollo and Channel 4’s Black British and Funny), with support from Erik Pohl, Dominic McGovern and Maureen Younger.

As seen on BBC's Live At The Apollo, C4's Black, British and Funny, Sky's The Russell Howard Hour and ITV's Sorry I Didn’t Know. Slim is a nine times Best Black Male Comedian winner at the Black Male Entertainment Awards, and the first Black British comic to sell out the London Palladium. Slim has performed worldwide and supported legends including Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle.

Maureen Younger
A 2023 British Comedian of the Year Finalist and regular headliner across the UK and Europe, Maureen has performed at Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and Leicester Comedy Festival, also touring supporting the likes of Frankie Boyle, Jen Brister and Shazia Mirza.

Dominic McGovern
Dominic McGovern is a BBC New Comedy Award nominee and Chicken Shop Date co-writer, with 20M+ views and a rapidly rising reputation on the UK circuit.
He’s supported Sophie Duker and Olga Koch and been called “endlessly entertaining and outrageously funny” by Rolling Stone.

Erik Pohl
Erik is an Australian comic and top-tier MC, bringing sharp crowd work, laid-back charm and sneaky punchlines that catch you off guard. A regular on the London circuit, he’s warm, quick-witted and quietly steals every room he’s in.
