About Jeeves Takes Charge

Jeeves Takes Charge at Charing Cross Theatre returns to London for a short season. First seen 45 years ago, this Olivier Award-winning production brings P G Wodehouse’s characters to the stage in a one-man performance.

Sam Harrison, a West End, Chichester and RSC favourite, plays all twenty-two characters, including Jeeves, Wooster, Florence Craye, Gussie Fink-Nottle, Bingo Little, Uncle Willoughby and Aunt Dahlia. The production is presented in a design by Caite Hevner.

Originally brought into the West End by Barbara Dickson and Bernard Theobald, together with Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show has also played showcase productions at Jermyn Street Theatre and The Tabard Theatre, plus a Christmas season at Theatre Royal, Bath.
