About Jeeves Takes Charge

Jeeves Takes Charge at Charing Cross Theatre, The Arches, London, returns to London for a short season. First seen 45 years ago, this Olivier Award-winning production presents P G Wodehouse’s much-loved characters in a one-man performance.

Sam Harrison plays all twenty-two characters, including Jeeves, Wooster, Florence Craye, Gussie Fink-Nottle, Bingo Little, Uncle Willoughby and Aunt Dahlia. The production is presented in a design by Caite Hevner.

It has previously been seen in showcase productions at Jermyn Street Theatre and The Tabard Theatre, and in a Christmas season at Theatre Royal, Bath. Originally brought into the West End by Barbara Dickson and Bernard Theobald, together with Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber, it now returns for a strictly limited run.
