Dark of the Moon is a supernatural musical about witchcraft, small-town prejudice and love. It follows Barbara Allen, a human girl, and John, a curious witch-boy, as they try to build a life together despite the divide between their communities.
Set between a rural Appalachian town and the world of witches and warlocks in the Smoky Mountains, the show brings those settings together through a score that blends country/bluegrass and rock.
The story centres on the question of whether love can overcome a deal made by the dark of the moon.
