About Dark of the Moon
Dark of the Moon at The Arches, London is a new musical about witchcraft, small-town prejudices and love. It moves between a rural Appalachian town and the mystical world of witches and warlocks in the Smoky Mountains.
The story follows Barbara Allen, a human girl, and John, a curious witch-boy, as they try to build a life together across the divide between their communities.
The score reflects those two worlds with a blend of country/bluegrass and rock.
