About Dark of the Moon
Dark of the Moon is a supernatural musical at The Arches, London. It centres on a clash between a rural Appalachian town and the mystical world of witches and warlocks from the Smoky Mountains above it.
At the heart of the story are Barbara Allen, a human girl, and John, a curious witch-boy, as they try to build a life together despite the prejudice of their communities and the consequences of a deal made by the dark of the moon. The score reflects these two worlds with a mix of country/bluegrass and rock.
Suitable for ages 15+.
