About Dark of the Moon
Dark of the Moon at The Arches, London is a supernatural musical about witchcraft, small-town prejudice and love. It follows Barbara Allen, a human girl, and John, a curious witch-boy, as they try to build a life together across two very different worlds.
The story sets a rural Appalachian town against the mystical world of witches and warlocks from the Smoky Mountains above it. Its score reflects that contrast with a blend of country/bluegrass and rock.
