Join the National Symphony Orchestra at Cadogan Hall for an unforgettable evening of romantic orchestral music, featuring Rachmaninoff's magnificent Symphony No. 2, Bruch's much-loved Violin Concerto No. 1 performed by acclaimed violinist Coco Tomita, and Smetana's evocative tone poem Vltava.

Conducted by Rimma Sushanskaya, the programme opens with Smetana's vivid musical portrait of the River Vltava, tracing its journey through the Czech countryside to its majestic arrival in Prague. Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 follows, one of the most popular and lyrical concertos in the repertoire, performed by the outstanding Coco Tomita. The evening concludes with Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2, a sweeping masterpiece renowned for its soaring melodies, lush orchestration and emotional depth.

About the Soloist

Violinist Coco Tomita first came to prominence after winning the BBC Young Musician 2020 Strings Category. She has since released two critically acclaimed albums, Origins and Echoes, and has received praise from Gramophone, BBC Music Magazine and The Guardian. Coco performs regularly throughout the UK and internationally and has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Nagoya Philharmonic, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and London Mozart Players.

Ticket Information

Three seating bands are available: Premium, Standard and Value (corresponding to Price Bands A, B and C on the official Cadogan Hall website). Seats are allocated by the box office and every effort will be made to seat parties together.

All seats offer a clear view of the stage, with Band C providing a more distant or angled perspective, reflected in the lower ticket price.
