Beethoven Summit '26is ICCM's first international festival and scholarly conference dedicated to the life, music, and continuing influence of Ludwig van Beethoven.
Why Beethoven - and why now?
As ongoing research reshapes how we hear and perform his music, Beethoven stands as a bridge between the Classical and Romantic eras, and as a composer whose work continues to challenge, inspire, and evolve.
This four-day summit brings together performers, scholars, and audiences for an immersive experience featuring:
- Leading Beethoven scholars presenting new research
- Public panel discussions exploring fresh perspectives
- Multiple concerts celebrating Beethoven's music
