The Oresteia at the Bridge Theatre is Simon Stone’s contemporary production based on a Greek myth. It follows a contemporary family that wakes up in the myth and cannot seem to find a way out of its hellish destiny.
Simon Stone is an Australian theatre and film director known for his radical reworkings of classic works, including Yerma and Phaedra. He has also staged The Lady from the Sea at the Bridge Theatre.
