The Oresteia at the Bridge Theatre is Simon Stone’s contemporary take on the Greek story. Stone, the Australian theatre and film director behind Yerma, Phaedra and The Lady from the Sea at the Bridge Theatre last year, brings his latest work to London.
A contemporary family wakes up in a Greek myth and cannot seem to find a way out of its hellish destiny. The production follows that family as it is drawn into a story shaped by fate, conflict and violence.
