Into the Woods at Bridge Theatre is Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical, bringing together the Baker, the Baker’s Wife, the Witch, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Rapunzel. It begins with familiar fairy-tale questions — to sell the cow, lift the spell, visit mother, see the king or find yourself — before moving beyond happy ever after to what really matters.
The production weaves these characters and stories together through the woods and the choices they make. If you are weighing up whether it is right for you, the most useful details are the age guidance, content warnings and the listed captioned and audio described performances.
