Into the Woods is Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical about the Baker, the Baker’s Wife, the Witch, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Rapunzel, who head into the woods for different reasons and discover what really matters.
The story begins with a simple question: why go into the woods? To sell the cow, lift the spell, visit mother, see the king, or find yourself. The musical brings these storylines together and moves beyond happy ever after into a more complicated look at wish, loss and consequence.
Key facts: This production contains themes of grief and death, graphic violence, haze, strobe lighting in Act 2 only and loud noises.
