Into the Woods at the Bridge Theatre is Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical about the Baker, the Baker’s Wife, the Witch, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Rapunzel. It follows their journeys beyond the idea of happily ever after, as the characters search for what really matters.
The show asks why you would go into the woods, with each character moving there for a different reason: to sell the cow, lift the spell, visit mother, see the king, or perhaps to find themselves.
