Rhythmic Addiction

We are genuinely proud to welcome Giles Smith and Alex Nut to Rhythmic Addiction.

Both are selectors we have respected for a long time. Not just for what they play, but how they play. Decades deep in the culture, shaping dancefloors, radio and record collections across London and beyond.

Alex’s reputation has been built through years as a selector, alongside his work through his own label Eglo Records. Giles’ journey through Secretsundaze and Two Armadillos reflects a deep, lived understanding of underground music. Both also host long-running shows on NTS Radio, using radio as an extension of their musical worlds.

Both draw from a broad spectrum - hip hop, house, dub, broken beat and more. But for this night they’ll bring those influences together for a four-hour back-to-back journey, focused on deep house, shaped slowly, and guided by the room.
