

High Society at the Barbican is Cole Porter’s musical comedy about a society wedding that unravels when old flames, new attractions and a tabloid reporter arrive at the waterfront estate. The production is set for the summer season and features a 28-strong cast.
Helen George stars as Tracy Lord, with Felicity Kendal also in the cast, alongside a full-size orchestra. The score draws on Cole Porter favourites including Just One Of Those Things, Let’s Misbehave, I Love Paris, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?, Well, Did You Evah and True Love.
Brought together by a multi award-winning creative team including Rachel Kavanaugh and choreographer Anthony Van Laast, this production offers Golden Age musical theatre with a large cast and a broad, familiar score.
