About Death Note The Musical
Death Note The Musical is a London staging of the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, presented in collaboration with original producers HoriPro. The production features a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell.
The story follows brilliant student Light Yagami after he discovers a notebook with the power over life and death. His attempt to reshape the world leads to a tense battle of wits with the elusive detective L, where every name carries consequences.
The manga has sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
