About Death Note The Musical

Death Note The Musical brings the legendary manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata to London in collaboration with original producers HoriPro. The story follows brilliant student Light Yagami after he discovers a notebook with the power over life and death, setting off a battle of wits with the elusive detective L.

With over 30 million copies sold worldwide, Death Note is adapted here as a stage musical with a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell. The production presents a tense, story-led clash where every name carries consequences.
