About Death Note The Musical
Death Note The Musical brings Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s manga to London in collaboration with original producers HoriPro. The story follows brilliant student Light Yagami after he discovers a notebook with the power over life and death, setting off a battle of wits with the elusive detective L.
The production features a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell. The manga has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, giving the show a strong existing fan base as well as clear source material for first-time audiences.
