Sinatra The Musical is heading to the Aldwych Theatre in the West End from June 2026. Created by two-time Tony Award-winning writer Joe DiPietro and Olivier Award-winning, three-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall, it tells the story of Frank Sinatra’s rise as a young singer whose voice begins to shape music history.
Set on New Year’s Eve, 1942, the musical follows the 27-year-old Sinatra as he steps on to the stage of New York City’s Paramount Theatre. As his career grows, his personal life becomes complicated by his marriage to Nancy and his relationship with Ava Gardner, while scandal and a hostile press push him towards a career setback.
Featuring over twenty classic hits, including “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”, the show presents a portrait of the singer’s early rise and comeback.
