Sinatra The Musical at the Aldwych Theatre is heading to the West End from June 2026. Created by a world-class team including two-time Tony Award-winning writer Joe DiPietro and Olivier Award-winning, three-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall, it tells the story of Frank Sinatra’s early rise and the pressures that followed.
Set on New Year’s Eve 1942, the musical follows a 27-year-old Frank Sinatra as he steps onto the stage of New York City’s Paramount Theatre and gives the performance that changes music history. As his career grows, his heart is pulled between his wife, Nancy, and Ava Gardner, before scandal and a hostile press force him to fight for a comeback.
Featuring more than twenty classic hits, including That’s Life, One For My Baby, The Best Is Yet to Come and I’ve Got the World on a String, the show combines familiar songs with a story built around Sinatra’s life and career.
