The Comedy About Spies is at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End. Mischief’s spy comedy returns for a limited 8-week run this summer, following a sold-out 2025 summer season.
The show follows a rogue British agent who steals plans for a top-secret weapon, setting off a chaotic chase as CIA and KGB spies converge on London’s Piccadilly Hotel. The cast of characters includes a clueless young couple and a hapless actor hoping for a spy movie role, with enough double agents and crossed wires to keep the mission in constant confusion.
The Comedy About Spies is the winner of Best New Play at the WhatsOnStage Awards 2026. It is from the team behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery.
Duration: 2 hours and 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
