The Comedy About Spies at the Adelphi Theatre returns to London’s West End for a limited 8-week run. Mischief’s spy comedy is set in 1960s London, where a rogue British agent steals plans for a top-secret weapon and CIA and KGB spies converge on the Piccadilly Hotel in search of the missing file.
The story follows a clueless young couple, a hapless actor hoping for a spy film role, and a cast of double agents caught up in a mission that quickly spirals out of control. It is from the team behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery.
Following a sold-out 2025 summer season, the production won Best New Play at the WhatsOnStage Awards 2026.
