The Comedy About Spies is at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End. Mischief’s spy comedy returns for a limited 8-week run this summer, following a sold-out 2025 summer season.
This 1960s espionage farce follows a rogue British agent who steals plans for a top-secret weapon, prompting CIA and KGB spies to converge on London’s Piccadilly Hotel in search of the missing file. The action also involves a clueless young couple and a hapless actor hoping for a role in a spy film, all part of a story of confused identities and crossed messages.
It comes from the team behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, and won Best New Play at the WhatsOnStage Awards 2026.
