The Candlelight Club: Valentine's Day Ball

What more romantic way to celebrate St Valentine’s Day than an evening of Charleston-dancing, cocktail-sipping and Jazz Age glamour at London’s award-winning 1920s-themed speakeasy party where everyone dresses the part?

Our Valentine's Ball will be hosted by the Cupid of Cabaret, Champagne Charlie, with a sigh, a swoon and a saucy song. There will be live music from the six-piece Ritzy Palooza, with a tsunami of swing to get your heart swelling and your feet moving on the dance floor. There will be sizzling burlesque from Miss Betsy Rose, and when the band aren’t playing DJs the Bee’s Knees will be spinning vinyl from a more elegant age. 

Want to know if he/she is The One? Our fortune teller Lucius will be on hand to advise. There will also be a pop-up vintage jewellery store (in case you need a ring in a hurry).

You can preorder the three-course dinner, or reserve a table with Champagne (with optional snacks and sharing platters). Ticket-holders get an email a few days before revealing the secret location (close to a tube station).

Note that our party is not just for spooning couples—as at all our events, we welcome groups of friends, swing dance fans, vintage dandies, lone wolves and conga-dancing party people.
