The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind at 4 Soho Pl, Charing Cross Rd, London W1D 3BG, United Kingdom, is a new musical telling the true story of William Kamkwamba. William wants to build a windmill, but nobody believes he can, including his father and his friends.

As drought closes in on his family’s farm and the village he loves, William has only library books and scraps of old machinery to work with. This world premiere is based on William Kamkwamba’s memoir and Chiwetel Ejiofor’s film, and it is directed by Lynette Linton, with book and lyrics by Richy Hughes and music and lyrics by Tim Sutton.
