About Tao Of Glass
Tao Of Glass is at 4 Soho Place in London. This West End premiere brings together composer Philip Glass and performer-director Phelim McDermott in what is described as their most personal collaboration yet. Inspired by a dream, it explores life, loss and the question of where true inspiration comes from.
The production is part-concert, part-performance, combining ten meditations on life, death and Taoist wisdom with ten new pieces of music from Glass. It is presented by McDermott with an ensemble of musicians and puppeteers, and produced by Factory International, Improbable and Nica Burns.
Reviews listed with the production include five stars from The Guardian, The Times and What’s On Stage, and four stars from The Telegraph, The Observer and The Arts Desk.
