Ymdrech: Open Mic

Welcome to Ymdrech: Open Mic at The Muse!

Join us for an evening of creativity and expression as we showcase local music talent. Whether you're a seasoned performer or trying out the stage for the first time, this is your chance to take the spotlight.

This event is part of a larger project, focussed on providing more inclusive music opportunities for young people living in and around Brecon. So, if you are in-between the ages of 10 and 25, and looking to share your sound, this is the place to be!

Ever wanted to be in a music video? We've hired a videographer to capture every moment of the event, with footage being used to support "Ymdrech", a song being released later this year. So, by getting involved, you could be one of the faces featured in its original music video.

Additional Notes:

• You must be under the age of 25 to participate in or attend this event. Each participant may be allowed one accompanying parent or guardian. Parents and guardians must also order a ticket.

• This event will be filmed. Following ticket booking you will receive an email requesting your consent to be filmed. If you are under the age of 16, you will need to provide the contact details of a parent or guardian who is able to consent to your involvement. Your consent must be provided prior to the event. If consent is not provided you will not be included in filming but may still take part in the event. If you do not want to be filmed you must inform the organisers of the event and it will not hinder your ability to take part.
