DP Events presents Strange, Korova and Slower at the world famous Jacaranda Club.

Strange

Born from a love of David Bowie, Johann Sebastian Bach, ABBA, Talking Heads and Tom Waits, STR^NGE should by all rights not exist. From their inception in 2020 by close friends and family, STR^NGE's modus operandi has been to create via unconvention. A sonic ideology consisting of structured hedonism and a dash of appreciation for the aesthetics of music has shaped their sound meticulously, which all comes pouring out in their debut single "Masquerade".

After constant sold-out shows in their hometown of Liverpool throughout 2022 and 2023 and a second single release, STR^NGE decided to push for full throttle and display their fluidity with their latest EP "Let's Leave the Greyhounds in the Slips". McCartneyesque melodies mingle with moody rock stompers, producing an audible big bang of artistic variety that would leave even Schopenhauer crying out for more.

Korova

Korova are a 5 piece band from Liverpool striving to span genres and not aim for one particular sound in their music.

Slower

Slower are four school-friends who bonded over music; crossing paths in the local scene and as occasional bandmates over the course of a decade before founding Slower. having a diverse taste in music between the four members, they want to take the traditional guitar band lineup and create fresh, genre-mashing and immersive music.
their first releases, a trilogy of singles, showcase their wide range of influences. The anthemic indie of 'Show Him Down The Line', the groovy earworm 'Intrusive Thoughts' and the full-throttle mosh-pit energy of 'Entanglement'.
