Review of Road to Nashville Festival | Invisible Wind Factory, Liverpool

Utterly shambolic from start to finish!

We specifically booked this because it was advertised as a day party (2pm-9pm). Instead, with zero meaningful communication, it started TWO HOURS later than advertised and was changed to 4pm-11pm. Adding time on at the end does not fix the problem - due to work commitments the next day, we never would have booked this event had there been any indication the times could change. We lost paid-for time and couldn't stay to "make it up".

Roads were blocked off, so we couldn't reach the venue or the supposedly "local" parking that was advertised and when we finally did arrive, staff admitted it still wasn't ready and we were left outside, queueing in pouring rain.

Almost everything advertised was a lie - no BBQ food, no bull riding, no axe throwing. Food and drinks were grossly overpriced, with laughably little choice. There was nowhere to sit at all unless you went back outside into the rain, where every seat was soaking wet.

The only thing that even had the potential to redeem this event was line dancing with my friends but with absolutely nowhere to rest between dances, even that was ruined. Being forced to stand constantly or go back out into the rain completely killed the atmosphere.

The toilets were beyond disgusting. Endless queuing, no toilet roll within an hour, and hygiene clearly an afterthought.

We were all really looking forward to this, but it turned into a miserable, chaotic mess. We left early, cold, hungry, fed up and angry.

A complete failure of an event. Total waste of time and money. Avoid.

A great show, at a great venue. Although there was no rodeo bull or axe throwing- as advertised.

I feel like I was scammed with this event as it was advertised with American street food, rodeo bull, axe throwing and none of this was at the event. the best part was the Luke combs tribute 

It would have been really good if there hadn't been false advertising. We turned up at 16:30 and the roads were blocked off so we couldnt get to the venue, to then be greeted with "we still aren't ready". Once we were in we realised that there was a Polish themed stall outside. No BBQ food, no bull riding, no axe throwing etc. The alcohol we wanted ran out within an hour (Makers Mark, Rum, Southern Comfort). We were looking forward to it but we ended up feeling disappointed and left early. Might seem over the top but when you don't get many nights away from the kids, you look forward to when you do!

The event was advertised as having axe throwing and a rodeo bull and entertainers but this was not the case.

Really poor organisation at the event. Start ime pushed back by two hours and they were still not ready on time to let the patrons in. Instead left them standing outside in heavy rain. Then once finally inside no cash payments at the bar which I have still been unable to find notification of anywhere with the tick*ts. Music was good and atmosphere too but organisation prior was very poor.
