We had a great time once we entered the event. I had messaged to see if we could take picnic chairs in and was told yes. Due to health issues with one of our group. When we arrived we were told we couldn’t take them in and to read the terms and conditions. We did and couldn’t find anything.

every thing was excellent, just management was rubbish, no wrist ban was providing and that is why once you entered you couldn't get out and come back,you couldn't take your bag inside with you but nothing about that was mentioned in ticket or in website before buying ticket so many people had issues, event was excellent and really great and it was shame why management was this weak.

I used to really enjoy the Mela and was looking forward to the curry and beer festival but found it a bit disappointing. The food and entertainment was ok but not enough different beer or breweries. PigLove brewery was good but disappointed with Kirkstall.
There were two very different festivals together on the same day and two very distinct atmospheres- I don’t think it worked!

This should ge advertised as a family festival with beer and curry on the side. Two stages blaring loud and conflicting music may suit some.

This event was the first time my wife, and myself had been to, and we thought it was really wonderful. The Food was amasing, lots of different mouth watering dishes..some of the Music on one of the stages was not to our liking, we found it too repetative boom boom, but the stage with the Indian, asian style music was fantastic. We definately will come again next venue. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon.

Very expensive for everything spent £150 on but of food and few rides. Was a great day out just be prepared to spend!,

The venue was shut two hours earlier than originally advertised - originally should have been 8pm which went to 7pm before the event and finally the security were asking us to leave at 6!
