Springfest/Springboard Festival 2024 - Hallgate Tavern Stage - Sunday Line Up
Here we go with the annual live music festival in Cottingham, last year it was renamed Springfest but let's face it it will always be Springboard.
At Music HQ we have been involved since the second year and as ever we are really excited to be programming a stage at our second home the rather excellent Hallgate Tavern.
Here we go with this year's acts playing the stage on the Sunday (traditionally a fairly acoustic afternoon to appeal to families before it gets into a more energetic party mode later on).
Consequences - great acoustic duo who are regulars on the local scene playing lots of gigs & open mic nights
Matt Crossland/Sean Cahill - a split set featuring local singer/songwriters Matt & Sean, we're cramming as many acts in as possible this year !!!
Amy Bell - energetic, punky/alt singer/songwriter who now seems to be getting the recognition she deserves !!!
Sam Dawson - excellent singer/songwriter who will be playing a set of his quality original material
Travelling Light - our first band of the day who really got the crowd going last year with some great acoustic based covers
Edge of 13 - a stripped down acoustic set from Bridlington's Edge of 13
Rob Bywater - the South Bank's Rob Bywater is back for another year at Cottingham, one of the acts we and many others have worked with over the years & well known as a gig organiser/promoter in his own right
Exposed - our second band of the day playing some quality original music
Jack Kendrick & the Broken Wonders - anyone who has seen Jack & his band will know exactly what to expect from this energetic folk/punkster
The Ekoes - brand new, young local band starting to find their feet locally, indie & rock & pop classics
Fat Louis - blues, soul, rock & pop classics, prepare to dance to these guys
Punky Munkeyz - featuring a new singer these guys are going from strength to strength, rock/punk covers to sing & dance to
Hats Off - finishing off the weekend are one of the stars from last year, this time playing a set of their great high energy rock & indie covers as well as possibly a couple of their own brilliant original tracks (check out their full original set on the Friday night)
