Springfest/Springboard Festival 2024 - Hallgate Tavern Stage - Friday Night Line Up
Here we go with the annual live music festival in Cottingham, last year it was renamed Springfest but let's face it it will always be Springboard. At Music HQ we have been involved since the second year and as ever we are really excited to be programming a stage at our second home the rather excellent Hallgate Tavern.
Here we go with this year's acts playing the stage on the Friday night (traditionally our more indie/guitar leaning night).
Echoes Of Moscow - led by Mark Martindale, Echoes Of Moscow play some classic Americana influenced originals & choice covers
Nick Tudor - heading in from the coast is top quality & energetic singer/songwriter Nick with his indie/Brit Pop influenced originals, always worth seeing live
Will Dooley - one of Cottingham's own, now residing over in Manchester and making quite a name for himself we are very happy to welcome Will back to the festival after a storming set last year
Lyford - classic guitar led indie rock from the South Bank's Lyford, a favourite at O'Rileys where they have played several times
Hats Off - brilliant young band who went down a storm last year, this year we are lucky to have them playing a set of their original songs as well as a set on Sunday when they will be adding in some of their great covers
Temperance Hall Cult - well known singer/songwriter Ollie Smith leads this prog/rock band who again went down brilliantly last year and have consistently expanded their material as well as becoming a powerful live band.
Atom Of Lunar - powerful tech/prog leaning alt rock band featuring members of thrashers The Filthy Obsession but very different in style, they will finish off the night in fine & loud style.
