Waterford Foraging Walk
Waterford Foraging Workshop
A chance to head out on a local walk and learn about all the wonderful plants, flora, fauna and fungi growing around you.
We will cover which ones are edible, medicinal and those that are toxic/ not to be touched.
The session will start at 10am, where we will have a slow paced walk with plenty of stops to talk about what we find along the way. A chance to try some foraged foods on the spot, as well as a light lunch, refreshments and some tasters foraged and made locally in waterford.
Lunch, tasters and drinks are included in the price.
The session will run for approx 4 hours, and you'll be given a leaflet with info about what to expect from the day, future courses, recipes and more!
But if you fancy it, you can bring along a notebook and pen to jot down info as we go along.
Please make sure to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather, and on hot days, bring along some water to ensure staying hydrated throughout the session.
